Supplying the need for medical personnel to the Good News Hospital
The nursing school seeks to teach and train qualified nurses and midwives who are recognised by the Malagasy government to serve both in the Good News Hospital, and elsewhere in Madagascar.
By training students who have accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour, the nursing school is able to equip nurses and midwives to provide quality health care that is accessible to the poor, as well as share the Good News to those around them.
The training programmes run every 3 years, taking in both men and women from the region, with the choice of focussing on nursing or midwifery from the second year. Students also have the excellent opportunity for practical experience in the hospital wards.
