Training and discipling Christian Surgeons

The Good News hospital partners with PAACS (The Pan African Academy of Christian Surgeons) to train and disciple young African doctors to become highly skilled, compassionate surgeons, who love Jesus and love to make him known. The five year program provides a comprehensive general surgery training to an international standard. Residents are discipled in their Christian faith and it is our prayer that they develop into mission-minded surgeons who are able to use the opportunities they have to share Jesus with others. We hope this program will be a blessing not only to Mandritsara and the surrounding districts, but also to the whole Island of Madagascar, as gospel-hearted surgeons take highly skilled surgical care and the good news of Jesus to those who so desperately need them both.

The program provides a great opportunity to reach the island of Madagascar by training highly skilled, mission-minded surgeons who love Jesus. The program begins in January 2022, and training happens in English.

We are often looking for short-term surgeons to cover conferences, home assignment, and holidays.
