Current Prayer Needs

September - 2025

1. Pray for the new xray machine to arrive safely - it is currently in the middle of the ocean!

2. Praise God for the completion of the radio project. The official opening with be on 21st November.

3. Please pray for the HVMM team as they recruit several important positions including HR Director

4. Pray for Dr Neheme who is leaving the project to work in a government hospital. Thank God for the time he was able to serve at HVMM and that the transition to his new job goes well. Please pray for the new Malagasy Dr who has started - Dr Aimée

5. Praise God for the official opening of  Anjohivola Church in Mandritsara. Thank God for this joyous occasion which included a parade round Mandritsara. Please pray for protection and unity of this church.

August - 2025

1. Please keep praying for the radio project. Thank God that both the antennas are up. There is still work to do, but we are hoping to inaugurate the building in November and start broadcasting in December.

2. Please praise God for his amazing provision - we have received funding from Samaritans to construct a new building for the laboratory and also a duplex house for the PAACS trainees. Work on the lab is due to start in 2026.

3. Please praise God for the 8 baptisms which recently happened in the little church in Befandrina. Pray that God would protect these 8 people and keep growing his work in Befandriana.

July - 2025

1. Give thanks that the new radio mast was safely installed on a hill outside Mandritsara. It was quite a feat and involved Helimission flying very heavy bits of pylon from the hospital up to the top of the mountain! Thank God for the partnership between HVMM and Helimission.

2. Pray for LIFT team - 12 people from NI coming over from 25th June to 8th July. They will be fitting all the electrics and air conditioning units for the new Radio Building. Pray for preparations, safe travel and for them to be able to complete all they need to.

3. Pray for future projects - the main ones at the moment are the proposals for the new laboratory, and some more staff housing. Pray for wisdom for the leaders at the hospital as they plan these projects. Thank God for the continued generosity of people and organisations who donate time and money to the project. Give thanks especially for Samaritans Purse who recently sent a team of experts to help assess what will be needed for the new laboratory.

4. Pray for the missionary team while Ted & Rachel are away on home assignment. Pray that Ted & Rachel will be able to prepare and hand over well.
