From July 2023, we have an urgent need for a senior medical doctor.
We are looking for a medical doctor (general practitioner / family practitioner, internal medicine specialist, or A+E / ER specialist) to serve “long-term” in Mandritsara. The ideal candidate would be in the later stages of registrar / resident training, or in consultant practice, and have some experience of working in a developing world context (although this is not essential).
You will need to be able to speak, read and write some French, as it is the working language of the hospital. This is not a paid role; you will need to raise your own funds for flights and your expenses during your time in Mandritsara. Short-term volunteers are generally self-fund and longer-term volunteers are sent by a church or missionary organisation. All workers should have the prayerful support of their home church.
